Ready to turn heads? The vibrant Subaru BRZ tS Kiiro edition is making its way to Australia, bringing a splash of sunshine and a whole lot of style! Priced from $53,590 before on-road costs, this limited-edition model is set to ignite the hearts of car enthusiasts.
Following its debut in New Zealand, the BRZ tS Kiiro is officially confirmed for the Australian market. This announcement comes after images of the eye-catching, bright-yellow model surfaced across social media, sparking excitement among potential buyers. Subaru Australia has now released the official details, so let's dive in!
This special edition mirrors the New Zealand BRZ tS Kiiro, offering both manual and automatic transmission options. The most striking feature? Its exclusive Sunrise Yellow paint job. But that's not all – the car also boasts the Japanese kanji script for 'yellow' on the bootlid, complemented by matte-black badging.
Inside and out, the Kiiro edition is packed with unique touches. You'll find matte-black 18-inch alloy wheels, luxurious leather and Ultrasuede seat trim with yellow perforations, and vibrant yellow contrast stitching on the steering wheel and gearshift boot. Each car also features an individually-numbered interior Kiiro badge, adding to its exclusivity.
Here's where it gets exclusive: Only 95 units of the BRZ tS Kiiro will be available in Australia, part of a global production run of just 350 cars. So, if you're keen, you'll want to act fast!
Mechanically, the Kiiro edition doesn't stray from the regular BRZ tS. It comes with STI-tuned suspension, a front strut brace, and Brembo brakes, ensuring a thrilling driving experience. It also shares the black mirrors and black sharkfin antenna from the standard tS model.
Under the hood, the 2.4-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder boxer engine delivers the same punch as other BRZ variants: 174kW of power at 7000rpm and 250Nm of torque at 3700rpm.
While New Zealand customers receive a numbered keybox and engraved keyring, it's yet to be confirmed if Australian buyers will get the same special treatment. The Kiiro edition in Australia offers a choice of manual or automatic transmission, mirroring the regular BRZ tS. Interestingly, the New Zealand version is manual-only.
And this is the part most people miss... The Kiiro edition sits just $800 above the tS grade it's based on, making it a compelling option for those seeking a unique driving experience.
